AND NOW… I HAVE THE PLEASURE TO PRESENT TO YOU… ST. ANDREW THE APOSTLE “GOOD NEWS” FALL NEWSLETTER
The last three days have been perhaps the most riveting and extreme anxiety-generating days in our country since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even as we went to press, little seemed to have changed much in terms of this atmosphere. This is because of the general elections we have just conducted. As we still await the final results of the election, let us continue to pray for our country to remain united regardless of the outcome. When all is said and done, let us acknowledge that our God is almighty, and His kingdom is eternal, and as Charlie Johnson, one of our parishioners said, “(let us therefore) work towards building that (kingdom) up with the same, actually with more, enthusiasm than we have put into our chosen candidate. And moreover, as Americans, let us also remember that our country was founded on God and God will not desert it regardless who will occupy the White House.
And now, on a positive note, I have the pleasure to present to you the “St. Andrew the Apostle ‘Good News’ Fall Newsletter”. This newsletter, run by our Stewardship Council, has a rich selection of very exciting information one of which covers a side of Fr. Edward which you have never known and hidden gifts which you will never even guess he has. There are also detailed information on the funeral ministry through which our parish offers support to our parishioners who have lost a loved one, another one on the Youth Ministry in our parish and many more. To enjoy this wonderful newsletter, I invite you now to click on this link:
I would also like to remind you that we are officially launching our Journey Toward Holiness Campaign this weekend with official blessings on our parishioners at all the Masses. I encourage you to take time register so that you will be able to receive the very inspiring and helpful resources to assist you on this journey.
Finally, beginning this past Wednesday we resumed offering our evening Masses at 6:30pm, soon after the Benediction. I invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to be nourished by the Body and Blood of Christ during these challenging times. We need the Eucharist!
St. Andrew, I love you!
-Fr. Robert
