I will be vising my home country of Tanzania for the first time in four years! I leave April 25th and return to St. Andrew June 7th. Please pray for me that my travels may be safe, and that I get to have quality time with my family.

Don't let them miss out on being able to rock out in the name of Jesus, praise Him and adore Him, and encounter Him through incredible speakers like Fr. Mike Schmitz, Mass, and more July 14th-16th. Mother’s Lifeline Cradle Drive April 22 – May 7, 2023
In honor of Mother’s Day, the Mother’s Lifeline Ministry will be having our annual Spring Cradle Drive in the Narthex to pro-vide much needed items for the mothers and infants we serve as well as agencies we help. Items most needed are:

Car seat-convertible “grow with you” up to 40-50 lbs.
Car seat / stroller combo, neutral color
New & gently used summer clothes: 18-24 months
2T-3T boys and girls summer clothes

Socks ad bibs for girls
Infant toys, pacifiers, burp cloths
Diapers size 3-6
Pull ups
Wipes, baby wash, sham-poo, lotion
Pack-n-play sheets

January 21,2023 we kicked off our 2023 Baby Bottle Drive
This years Drive raised over : $ 10,000.00
All proceeds from this event will help support the Aid to Women’s Centers and their Outstanding Works.

Our Drop-In Bereavement Support Group will be meeting this coming Thursday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. in Room A. Please feel free to come by and join us if you are dealing with the grief of loss.

The Knights will again this year be selling See’s Candy for Mother’s Day the weekend of April 29 & April 30 in the Courtyard.

Yesterday’s Kids meeting will be Monday, May 1, 2023 at 12:00 pm in Hennessey Hall. It will be a deli lunch for all members. If you plan to attend, please contact Rosemary or Betty. Hope to see you then.

Greetings Silver Belles Ladies! Our next meeting and the final one for this season will be May 4th...11am to 12pm...Room A. We will be sharing more favorite books...favorite movies...and let’s add favorite recipes. Try to zerox your recipe to share if you can. We will continue to explore ways we can be of service to St. Andrews. We can plan another outing.

Silver Belles Ministry is for active mature women who are interested in social, support and service to our parish...grandmothers, marrieds, singles are all welcome! Doors open 10:45am.

A Mass of Remembrance & Hope for Mothers of Lost Children will be hosted at St. Andrew the Apostle on Wednesday, May 10th; at 6:00pm. (There will be Coronation of/Consecration to the Blessed Virgin before Mass, with a Rosary Procession following Mass)

“Children are a gift from the Lord.” Grow Haiti’s Children is a nonprofit organization that supports 80 children in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage in Jeremie, Haiti.

Grow Haiti’s Children will be in the Courtyard May 13th & 14th at all Masses. We appreciate financial and Spiritual Support.

CATHOLIC COMMUNITY EVENTS

Rachel's Vineyard Retreat for those who have been affected by abortion is April 21 - 23rd. This retreat is a chance to get away from the daily pressures of work and family, through a supportive & non-judgmental process. You will be able to focus on the pain you have experienced through discussion, and spiritual exercises including Reconciliation, a Memorial Service & a Mass of Entrustment. The weekend is intense and emotional, but yields a fruitful harvest for all who attend. This retreat is for all who have suffered from the pains of abortion, whether you had an abortion or have been in someway affected by an abortion. There are still openings available for the April Retreat.
