Our Pastor, Fr. Teilo, appreciates all who would choose to pray with him for his father who is currently in poor health. It has been seven years since Fr. Teilo last visited his family in Kenya, and he will be traveling there at the beginning of December.  He is looking forward to seeing his family and spending time with his father before returning in mid December.

Moms of all ages are invited to pop into the MUMS After Dark gathering on November 18th at 6:30pm in the Adult Ed Center. Meet other moms, find friendship, encouragement and lots of laughter. Kids are home with dad and this time is for you!
Bring something to share if you like, otherwise come as you are.

Sunday November 20th will be our Monthly Pancake Breakfast.
The Profts from this Breakfast will be going to the: Knights Kids
Our Menu includes:
• Buttermilk and Blueberry Pancakes
• Scrambled Eggs and Breakfast Burritos
• Bacon, Sausage and Biscuits and Gravy
• Fresh Fruit – Assorted Juice – Cofee

St. Andrew’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive has begun. If you would like to donate, please drop of your non-perishable donations in the wagons located in the Narthex.

Thanksgiving Food Box

If you are a parish family who would like some help with Thanksgiving this year, please consider submitting an application for the Thanksgiving Food Box. Caring Ministries would like to, once again, help families in our parish community this Thanksgiving. Applications for the Thanksgiving Food Box are available in the Parish office through October 31, 2021. Registered parishioners can pick up an application in the Parish Office, Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM, closed for lunch 12 – 12:30 PM.

For those of you who would like to help provide a Thanksgiving meal, please consider donating the following items to complete a food basket for a family of 4 – 6.
• 1- 12 lb - Frozen Turkey
• 2- 15 oz can - Yams/Sweet Potato
• 1 large can - Chicken Broth
• 1 box - Instant Potatoes
• 1- 15 oz can - Cranberries Sauce
• 2 boxes - Stuffing Mix
• 1- 8 oz can - Gravy Mix
• Turkey pan

*You may also donate $45 and we will do the shopping for a food box that serves 4-6 people. Make checks payable to “St. Andrew Good Samaritans”. Please deliver completed boxes to the Parish Office by Thursday, November 17th . We thank you for your generosity.

It’s that time of the year again! The Annual Christmas Giving tree is up in the Narthex and the Christmas gift tags are now available. The different colored tags will all have the same value which is $25. We are working with the same agencies as in previous years – Catholic Charities Foster Families, St. Peter’s Indian Mission, St. Anthony’s Indian Mission, Starbright Foundation, Healthy Families of Arizona, St. Andrew’s Mother’s Lifeline and St. Andrew’s Parish families.

Please note that ALL GIFTS are due no later than 12 PM on December 4th. Gifts may be dropped of ONLY in the Parish office from Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM, closed for lunch 12 – 12:30 PM. We thank you for your generosity!

Our reopening of the Parish Nursery has been postponed as we are finalizing details, but we are so excited and thankful for those who have step forward to make reopening possible. Stay tuned for when we announce the dates for the nursery's official reopening.
