St. Andrew’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive will begin on October 29th. If you would like to donate, please drop of your non-perishable donations in the wagons located in the Narthex.

Thanksgiving Food Box

If you are a parish family who would like some help with Thanksgiving this year, please consider submitting an application for the Thanksgiving Food Box. Caring Ministries would like to, once again, help families in our parish community this Thanksgiving. Applications for the Thanksgiving Food Box are available in the Parish office through October 31, 2021. Registered parishioners can pick up an application in the Parish Office, Monday – Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM, closed for lunch 12 – 12:30 PM.

For those of you who would like to help provide a Thanksgiving meal, please consider donating the following items to complete a food basket for a family of 4 – 6.
• 1- 12 lb - Frozen Turkey
• 2- 15 oz can - Yams/Sweet Potato
• 1 large can - Chicken Broth
• 1 box - Instant Potatoes
• 1- 15 oz can - Cranberries Sauce
• 2 boxes - Stuffing Mix
• 1- 8 oz can - Gravy Mix
• Turkey pan

*You may also donate $45 and we will do the shopping for a food box that serves 4-6 people. Make checks payable to “St. Andrew Good Samaritans”. Please deliver completed boxes to the Parish Office by Thursday, November 17th . We thank you for your generosity.

It’s that time of the year again! The Annual Christmas Giving tree is up in the Narthex and the Christmas gift tags are now available. The different colored tags will all have the same value which is $25. We are working with the same agencies as in previous years – Catholic Charities Foster Families, St. Peter’s Indian Mission, St. Anthony’s Indian Mission, Starbright Foundation, Healthy Families of Arizona, St. Andrew’s Mother’s Lifeline and St. Andrew’s Parish families.

Please note that ALL GIFTS are due no later than 12 PM on December 4th. Gifts may be dropped of ONLY in the Parish office from Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM, closed for lunch 12 – 12:30 PM. We thank you for your generosity!

If you’ve ever wondered about the different outreach events that occur throughout the year or would like to learn more about Mother’s Lifeline, Good Samaritans and the Food Pantry, please stop by our table in the courtyard after mass on Sunday, November 6th.

There will be volunteers to answer any questions you may have about the Food Pantry, Mother’s Lifeline, Habitat for Humanity, Christmas Giving Tree, etc. after the 7 and 9 AM masses.

Seasons of Hope is a Christ-centered support group that meets for six consecutive weeks. Any parishioner who is mourning the loss of a loved one is encouraged to attend and bring a guest.

Registration fee is $20 to cover cost of Seasons of Hope journal and program materials. Please bring a bible. Pre-registration is encouraged before the first session. Payment is to be paid on the first day of session (no one will be turned away for inability to pay).

Monday evening session starts November 7, 2022 at 6:30 pm.

Yesterday’s Kids (Age 55 and up) will meet on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 12:00pm in Hennessy Hall. It will be a pizza lunch for all members. We hope to see you there.

Our reopening of the Parish Nursery has been postponed as we are finalizing details, but we are so excited and thankful for those who have step forward to make reopening possible. Stay tuned for when we announce the dates for the nursery's official reopening.
