HERE COMES THE 8TH EDITION OF OUR “GOOD NEWS” NEWSLETTER
As we continue to move on with greater hope following the most challenging last 20 months in recent years, our Stewardship Council once again has gifted us with yet another wonderful newsletter. This has come out timely, as our parish this weekend, celebrates its first Fall Festival after the pandemic, to welcome all of you our parishioners back and also commemorate all our relatives and friends lost during the past year.
As usual, I can not emphasize enough the outstanding quality of our newsletter with excellent articles written by our brilliant writers. In this edition for instance, you will enjoy articles about Kristen Hew our new and energetic Life-teen and Young Adult Coordinator, which will give you a sneak peek into why she is so passionate about her ministry with the youth and the Eucharist. You will discover that this is largely due to her own life experiences some of which were very challenging. You will also read about our bereavement ministry, about the E3 Africa gala and the Good Samaritan ministry, both of which are some of our corporal outreach ministries. Last but not least, you will also have opportunity to read about Eucharistic Adoration, the fall festival and an excellent reflection on the “Hail Mary”. To access and enjoy the newsletter in its entirety, please follow this link:
I would also like to take this chance to invite you all once again, for our Festival this weekend. It is a great moment for us to come together as a family to pray together, celebrate together and memorialize our dear departed ones who passed on during this past year either due to the COVID or other causes. The day will begin with a Rosary led by our Knights of Columbus at 1:30pm this Sunday, followed by a colorful liturgy during which all of us will be invited to actively participate. To crown the day, we shall then be treated to all kinds of great activities, entertainment and food. I once again invite you all to join us for this memorable celebration. Hope to see you there.
St. Andrew, I love You
